The outbreak of COVID-19 has caused school suspension intermittently for months since February 2020, affecting the study progress of students seriously. In light of this situation, “Easy Volunteer, Easy Tutoring” was launched responsively by volunteers from the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups in February 2020, providing effective and real-time online academic support to P.1 - S.3 students during the pandemic. Over 10,000 academic enquiries were answered with the support of volunteer tutors from high schools and universities as of today.
Announcement (15 JAN 2024)The epidemic has been gradually subsiding and students return to normal school life. We are apologetic to announce that the service of "Easy Volunteer, Easy Tutoring" is confirmed to be suspended starting from 20 January 2024, after more than 3 years of service. We sincerely thank you for the efforts of all voluntary tutors and the support from all students and parents who found our service useful. We wish everyone a healthy life. Good bye and thank you.
